Discovering a society of monster hunters and nocturnal beasts, the Vosk family endeavored to prevent the emergence of more hybrids, believed to be cursed beings destined to become enemies of vampires, werewolves, and hunters alike.Driven by a morbid curiosity, Zeppelin delved deeper into the secrets of these abominations, unwittingly drawing the attention of “Cecilia’s Hand,” a faction led by an elder vampire seeking to create a Vaewolf—a hybrid controlled by their kind. Amongst a group of candidates chosen by Cecilia’s Hand, Zeppelin found herself transformed into one of the rare hybrids, her fate sealed in the clutches of darkness.

AFTERMATH

Following her transformation into a hybrid, Zeppelin became a pariah, marked as an enemy of nature itself. Even her own family, gripped by fear of the monster within her, felt compelled to target her. Yet, she remained resolute in her Vosk heritage, unyielding to the mental toll of her supernatural existence.The Cecilia clan, incredulous at her defection, pursued her relentlessly. Employing potent depressants and subjecting her to a ritual immersed in the blood of deceased elder hybrids, they sought to fully convert her into their ranks. But Zeppelin, alongside three others who survived the ordeal, endured the torment, her stubborn spirit unbroken.Emerging from the blood pool with eyes ablaze with fury, Zeppelin exacted vengeance upon her tormentors, wiping out the famed clan in a single night. However, her actions cemented her status as a legend and a target, forever estranged from her former life.In the aftermath, Zeppelin and the three other souls bound to her realized they were not only fused with the blood of the dead hybrids but also their very souls. Lost in this amalgamation, they grappled with their newfound existence, while the souls within Zeppelin gradually departed, leaving her to reckon with her solitary existence.Now, bearing the weight of countless souls within her, Zeppelin must navigate her new reality as the most hunted being in the supernatural world, forever altered by the events that have shaped her fate.

Here, they present the physiology of a vaewolf; hybrid of a vampire and a werewolf which takes an equal amount of characteristics from each parent species.Vaewolves still need to consume blood regularly and may still be affected by the presence of a full moon, though to a lesser extent. Vaewolves are definitely a force to be reckoned with due to having all existing abilities of both species magnified. They’ll only get stronger through age, and Zeppelin is in her infancy in monsterkind.Appearances differ for every vaewolf, but a common theme is that they no longer have a ‘human’ form to shift to, for their base appearance is contorted. Some features from vampires and werewolves may be more dominant than others.Unless the blood is sufficient enough to withstand this lethal dose of a bite, vaewolves cannot turn humans into other vaewolves unless they have a strong will && sufficient blood to withstand its effects. The downside is that even with all these heightened abilities, they are cursed to suffer from occasional depression and psychological mental assaults due merging an undead soul with an alive one. It is meant for the stronger willed.

POWERS

✧ ᴀʟɪᴠᴇ / ᴜɴᴅᴇᴀᴅ ᴇǫᴜɪʟɪʙʀɪᴜᴍ: Due to being half-vampire and half-werewolf, both of their qualities have been merged. All vaewolves exists in a paradox state of being simultaneously alive and undead by all definitions of both states. Because of this, they can survive injuries lethal to any supernatural beast without regeneration, and be unaffected by the environment. Due to the mixed composition of the vaewolf, sustenance is still needed, though on the lesser side.✧ ᴛʀᴀɴǫᴜɪʟ ʟᴜɴᴀᴄʏ: Vaewolves can employ the forces of the moon to channel the power of their rage while maintaining absolute control.✧ ʜʏʙʀɪᴅ ᴛʀᴀɴsғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Combining the characteristics of werewolves and vampires, vaewolves can merge into an extremely powerful beast, increasing all existing abilities tenfold. However, maintaining is costly, for all of nature will constantly attack them. Their presence alone induces negative emotions and feeling of disgust. Mutations are likely, such as the growth of wings, and shooting bio-electric beams from the eyes.✧ ɪɴғɪɴɪᴛᴇ ᴊᴜᴍᴘ: With their raw physical force alone, hybrids can jump indefinitely when in midair without the aid of a physical surface, stepping on the air itself for higher elevation.✧ ɪᴍᴍᴇᴀsᴜʀᴀʙʟᴇ ᴅᴇᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Because Zeppelin retained her humanity post-transformation, she possesses an indomitably strong willpower, facing immense physical pain and psychological trauma without surrendering. Even so far as to pushing themselves beyond their own limitations as a vaewolf, resisting their unconventional weaknesses, and even concealing their presence although with other means of additional help.
